Question to Consider:
What happens when fear takes the driver’s seat in your life?
Bible Verse:
“The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
—Exodus 14:14
Reflection:
When life feels heavy and uncertain, fear is often our first response. We tense up, overthink, and start trying to control what’s spinning out of control. Before we know it, our focus shifts from faith to fear—from the power of God to the problem in front of us.
But here’s the truth: fear is one of the enemy’s favorite distractions. It keeps our eyes locked on the visible instead of the invisible—on the struggle instead of the Savior. Yet even in the unseen, God is moving. There’s a spiritual battle happening right now, and He’s already declared victory.
His invitation is simple but powerful: rest in His sovereignty, trust His goodness, and be still in His presence. You don’t have to fight every battle yourself. The Lord is fighting for you—right. this. very. second.
Practical Action Step:
When anxiety starts to rise, pause and breathe deeply. Whisper this promise over your situation: “God is fighting for me.” Then, release what you’ve been holding and let Him carry it.
I’m probably the only guy on your list, but I so much enjoy what you have to say. You always make me think.
Please keep up your good work
Just know you are making a difference.
Thank you so very much
